Abstract: The relevance of the research topic is due to the entry of society into a special period of development characterized by the predominance of multi-species intelligence in the economy. This raises the issue of intellectualization of the firm as the primary link in the national economy at the stage of digitalization. The purpose of the study is to establish the cognitive and organizational prerequisites for a computational approach to the theory of the intellectual firm. The research methodology includes conceptual analysis, interdisciplinary, computational, comparative, praxeological approaches, the correlation of concrete historical and predictive approaches, universal evolutionism. The novelty lies in the establishment of cognitive and organizational prerequisites for a computational approach to the study of the problem of intellectualization of a digital economy firm. This will facilitate its application in the practice of cognitive management of the firm based on a strategic vision of its future.
