Abstract: The relevance of the article is determined by the need to analyze the dynamics of the development of public-private partnership (PPP) in Russia. The study of the phased development of PPP, identifying the limitations and prospects at each stage, allows us to identify current problems hindering the development of PPP, and justify the need for their immediate solution for more effective use of this mechanism in the economic development of the country. The main purpose of the study is to identify the stages and main features of the development of public-private partnership in Russia, identify existing limitations and prospects at each stage, analyze current problems that hinder the effective development of PPP, and identify ways to address them. To achieve this goal, the following methods were used in the study: analysis of the regulatory framework, comparative and systematic analysis. The results of the study are to identify and describe the main stages of the development of PPP in Russia, indicating the exact chronological framework, characteristics and reasons for the change. The main limitations and barriers at each stage have been identified, indicating specific problems, and the current stage of PPP development has been identified, indicating current barriers to PPP development and identifying areas for improvement. The obtained research results can contribute to a deeper understanding of the development of PPP in Russia, identify problems and ways to solve them, as well as increase the effectiveness of using PPP as a mechanism for implementing socially significant projects.
