Abstract: The article analyzes the potential of the machine-building cluster of the Kemerovo region in the context of diversification of the economy of the region and neighboring Siberian territories. The purpose of the study is to determine the prospects for the development of the machine-building cluster of Kuzbass in the context of diversification of the economy of the regions of Siberia. Key factors that can contribute to the development of the cluster in the future and enhance its role in the process of diversification of the economy of Siberia are identified; new trends in its development are established. Specific tools and strategies for realizing this potential are proposed.
