Abstract: The relevance of the study lies in the need to identify trends in employee behavior in the labor market in the context of digitalization of the economy. The purpose of this study is to identify the behavioral trajectories of subjects in the labor market under the influence of generational differences. The article proposes for discussion the results of testing the hypothesis of the existence of various generational behavioral trajectories in the labor market, which reflect the models peculiar to a certain group of individuals united by a common feature – the period of birth and the conditions of formation. Research methods: analysis of existing databases, their quantitative and qualitative processing based on groupings, content analysis, ranking. Based on the analysis, specific characteristics of the life period, work behavior, the most common types of behavioral trajectories, a number of additional characteristics, and employer proposals for a specific age group are determined for each generation. The results obtained confirmed the formulated hypothesis. This made it possible to clarify the tools of macroeconomic regulation of the labor market, taking into account the specifics of the labor behavior of generations and the use of digital forms of employment. New opportunities are emerging to improve the quality of regulatory impact on the labor market. Its negative impact on the current state of social development will decrease.
