Abstract: The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of the efficiency of national production in Russia, including its essence, significance, types, factors influencing development, and performance indicators. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of data provided by the Federal State Statistics Service. Based on these data, conclusions are drawn about the current state and trends in the development of national production. The article provides statistical indicators illustrating economic growth, labor productivity, investment in fixed assets, as well as indices of industrial and agricultural production. Objective: to identify the factors and performance indicators that form the theoretical and methodological foundations of the efficiency of national production in Russia. When writing the article, the following methods were used: statistical data analysis, comparative method, economic and statistical method, qualitative analysis method, expert assessments, as well as information from the official websites of official state statistics bodies. Analysis of Rosstat data shows that the Russian economy is demonstrating positive trends, but to ensure sustainable development, it is necessary to continue working in the field of innovation, education and support for entrepreneurship.
