Abstract: The article examines the key parameters for achieving economic security of the national economy in the light of increasing external shocks (conjuncture, technological, political, etc.), which are acquiring a permanent character and cumulative consequences in today's conditions. Such challenges for the Russian economy are becoming "points of no return", requiring solutions to structural and technological problems that flow from one decade to another and undermine the level of its economic security. Achieving technological sovereignty is presented as a reference point and a fundamental factor in ensuring an acceptable level of economic security for Russia and increasing its ability to resist and withstand shocks of various natures, which in turn becomes possible due to a deep transformation of the technological structure of the economy. The strategic perspective is considered to be the need to develop a national technological platform corresponding to Industry 4.0, which is determined by the widespread introduction of advanced technologies, including those that reduce the man-made impact on the ecosystem, the transition to "unmanned" technological processes; the formation of a network structure in the economy; the development of alternative instruments for attracting funds for investment - crowd financing (crowdinvesting, ICO systems). In addition, in the context of sanctions restrictions, the issue of the need to form a national sustainable system of value chains based on internal resources and sources of development in the process of selective integration of Russia into global chains on the principles of mutually beneficial participation with friendly states is raised.
