Abstract: The article actualizes the need to initiate a digital structural shift in the context of economic transformation, which is experiencing both the impact of unprecedented sanctions and external technological shocks associated with breakthroughs in the innovative development of individual countries and difficulties in international technology transfer, ultimately raising the question of movement to national technological sovereignty. In accordance with this goal, the patterns of digital transformation of the economy and the associated mechanisms for changing structural proportions, proportions of ratios of elements of the economic system are considered to determine the basis and ways of forming a new model of economic growth. The authors assessed the potential of a digital structural shift in achieving technological sovereignty of the Russian economy and ensuring its growth, characterized a digital model of structural shifts, and identified the features of the formation of a digital environment in the Russian economy as a condition and driver for the growth of key industries, ensuring the sustainability and stability of economic dynamics in the context of sanctions and external exogenous shocks, incl. technological Particular attention is paid to an attempt to reveal the essence of the digital structural shift, the mechanism of its genesis and spread during the formation of the network and digital economy, which in Russia is experiencing the impact of increasing market entropy and decreasing openness, increasing external and internal shocks, increasing monopolization and sanctions restrictions, increasing deglobalization uncertainty.
