Abstract: The purpose of the study is to analyze the current risks of bankruptcy of mining enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The analysis was carried out using economic-statistical, economic-legal and comparative research methods. In the structure of investments in fixed capital according to the forms of ownership of investors in the Republic of Kazakhstan, private investments predominate. The results of the analysis indicate that for the analyzed period – 2017-2021. The most significant risk factor for bankruptcy of mining enterprises of the Republic of Ka-zakhstan was the 2019 pandemic, which was called the “COVID-19” pandemic. Despite the impact of negative factors, in the mining industry, starting in 2021, there has been a recovery and improvement in economic indicators. This is due to rising prices for industry products and increased labor productivity. The state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is aimed at comprehensive support and high-quality development of the mining industry, at its compliance with global standards.
