Abstract: The development of socio-economic systems is subject to the influence of factors of a different nature and manifested both in a change in the behavior of the system in relation to the external environment, and influencing its internal structure and the nature of the relationship between the individual elements of the system. The methodological basis of the article is presented by a system-structural approach and interdisciplinary factor analysis. Within the framework of the presented article, the author considers global transformation as a phenomenon of the modern stage of globalization, highlighting at the same time its manifestations in the geopolitical, economic, technological, social, cultural, humanitarian and environmental spheres. These manifestations form the corresponding trends, challenges and threats of global transformation that determine the behavior of the socio-economic system in the current conditions, while the author is of the opinion that the manifestations of global transformation ultimately affect the social and economic aspects of the development of the system, having in essence completely different nature.
