Abstract: The implementation of the Competition Development Standard and roadmaps, including up-to-date list of product markets, which provide the implementation of the expected parameters for the development of competition in a short-term period, is not only an important task in the framework of the implementation of the National goals of the Russian Federation. It is also a priority instrumental mechanism for economic growth of territories, the formation of high standards of life quality and the neutralization of migration sentiments. Regional and municipal authorities should form a wide discussion platform with the business community to highlight and consolidate those priority markets for the territory that create investment and innovation interest, increase the growth of citizens in the territory, and create conditions for promising development. This article is devoted to the issues of authorities’ engagement in the listing of product markets for setting the tasks of competition development.
