Abstract: The markets are currently under the influence of the expansion of Industry 4.0 technologies, radically changing the structure and volume of transactions. The global financial market and its national segments are at the forefront of the digitalization process, acting, on the one hand, as a consumer of innovative digital technologies, on the other, as a gigantic source and at the same time an investment infrastructure. The technological platform for the development of the modern fi-nancial market is the Internet, on the basis of which a new institutionalization of the financial sector takes place, with the emission of cryptocurrencies, the expansion of the circle of private investors, with the involvement of artificial intelligence. In this regard, the article discusses the key issues of the process of formation and development of the financial technology market. The main directions of the ex-pansion of digital technologies are shown, the features of individual instruments used in financial relations are revealed. The conclusion is made about the irre-versible transformation of the financial sphere due to the creation of its fundamen-tally new architectonics, which provides for the functioning of digital ecosystems.
