Abstract: Under the conditions of the urgent need to search for endogenous sources of accelerating economic growth, first, they are associated with innovations, taking into account the speed of development of productive forces, economic relations and their elements is of particular importance. The acceleration of innovative development cannot be considered and carried out without connection with its inertia, which manifests itself as a result of the interaction of multidirectional forces and contradictions. The search in the economic movement for differently accelerated elements of innovative development is a deepening of its analysis. The beginning of overcoming and using economic inertia is extremely important for the dynamization of macroeconomic processes, primarily reproduction, since it is associated with endogenous factors of economic growth – investments, innovations. That is why the development of measures to accelerate the macroeconomic dynamics of the Russian economy in the context of sanctions and the growing technological backwardness is impossible without considering such an internal property of the development of productive forces and economic relations as inertia. On this basis, this article examines the contradictions accompanying the development of the technological and logical basis of reproduction, the resolution of which has its own dynamism. Strengthening the factors of innovative development implies an increase in the level of study of the system of interaction of forces that provide acceleration and inertia of reproduction in the process of qualitative growth of productive forces, improvement of economic relations in the reproductive system and the accumulation of human capital.
