Abstract: The study of the main reasons for changes in inflation, price increases and methods of their regulation as the main aspect of modern monetary policy are largely due to modern trends in the country's economy. In addition, despite the fact that monetary policy does not directly affect price dynamics, but only indirectly through demand, today economists are faced with the task of assessing inflation expectations, since this factor is significant and has a significant impact on the quantitative characteristics of the inflation rate. Assessment of inflationary expectations at the regional level makes it possible to take into account the peculiarities of the regional economy when targeting inflation.
