Abstract: The paper attempts to assess the technological efficiency of economic activities. For this purpose, the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method was used. In the course of research, an output-oriented DEA model was used. As a result of the analysis, the indices of technological diffusion for each of the types of economic activity for 2017 were obtained, calculated on the basis of a system of indicators for a statistical assessment of the level of technological development of sectors of the economy, proposed by Rosstat. The results obtained made it possible to visualize in a visual form the technological efficiency of types of economic activity for the period under study. The authors concluded that the sectoral structure of the Russian economy is ineffective. The expediency of applying the DEA-analysis method to assessing the technological efficiency of types of economic activity is shown, as well as the possibility of using the obtained calculated data in order to form priority directions and conditions for the structural modernization of the Russian economy.
