Abstract: At the present stage of Russian market reforms, the transition to sustainable eco-nomic growth is constrained by structural problems that cannot be resolved from the very beginning of the transformation period. These problems are caused, on the one hand, by the deindustrial trend of market transformation, in which the influence of structural changes is mostly negative and leads to a reduction in the overall technological level of industry and a reduction in its share in GDP. On the other hand, the course of structural transformation of the economy in the context of macroeconomic instability narrows investment opportunities to initiate positive structural changes directly in the reproduction system, without which it is impossible to enter the path of sustainable growth. In this regard, the analysis of the connection between the principles and factors of structural transformations of the Russian economy in conjunction with macroeconomic instability is particularly relevant.
