Abstract: The article considers the problems of economic security of the country from the point of view of identifying financial crises. The essence and content of the financial crisis are revealed, the characteristic features of the stock bubble, as an integral component of the stock crisis, are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the study of existing methods for identifying and measuring bubbles. The authors analyzed current stock crises, highlighted the vulnerabilities of the Russian financial market. The article assesses the possibility of a stock crisis in Russia at the present stage, the result of which was the construction of a multifactor model for identifying a stock bubble. The proposals and recommendations on eliminating the existing problems of the Russian stock market in order to mitigate threats to the country's economic security are substantiated.
