Abstract: The article deals with the directions of improvement of occupational safety management systems in industrial enterprises. Currently, all work on this topic affect only some of the principles and algorithms of the system. The novelty of the proposed approach is that the management of occupational safety at the enterprise should be carried out on the basis of a comprehensive strategy. The existing theoretical knowledge in the field of occupational safety are integrated with theories of strategic management and formulated the basics of a technique of formation of strategy of development of system of labor protection at the enterprise: the definition of this strategy, the approach to its decomposition with the features included in the managed system subsystems, mapping of stakeholders of the system of labor protection and integration of its development strategy with other enterprise strategies.
