Abstract: Most studies of various social-and-economic processes are related to collecting and processing data that are used in various tasks of analysis and construction of forecast models. However, the input of programs for analyzing the collected data is incomplete due to various circumstances. The problem of processing of missed observations in data is often encountered by researchers, which makes analysis much more difficult. The gaps are basically caused by the impossibility of obtaining or hiding information, changing the forms and indicators of statistical reporting. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of methods and algorithms designed to recover missing data in arrays of economic statistics, describes the basic algorithms included in the developed software package, and the functionality of the software complex itself, designed to solve the imputation problem. The results of testing the developed software on the arrays of statistical information about the world consumption of liquid fuels and the open pit mining in Russia are presented.
